On April 15th my terrier poodle mix, Tina, probably chased a raccoon/opossum/etc. and took a tumble off the raised garden in the backyard injuring her back. She's now dragging her rear end and legs. We managed to gather enough money together to get her to the vet whom gave her Prednisone(steroid) to hopefully cure her back injury. The vet didn't do x-rays or much with her, which worries me. We don't know if the steroids are going to work or not. If the steroids don't work were going to have to take her to the neurosurgeon which will cost $2,000 - $3,000.
In the mean time we built her a wheelchair. Comments
I hate it when I c an animal like that! I am a major wolf and dog lover. I hope that your dog gets better, say hi to her for me plz!
-- Hiya, whut iz ur fav song? I would love to find out. Here is mine! [link] I don't understand why the vet didn't take x-rays. Wouldn't they want a record or any damage? At least to compare if your dog improves. That bothers me greatly.
